Additives and thinners

Additives are products that are added to a basic component to achieve a different effect or to change the mechanical properties. There are, for example, accelerators and inhibitors.

You own a pre-accelerated polyester resin, but have a project where your resin, filler or topcoat cures just a little too quickly? Or are you working at too high a temperature? Then use Inhibitor P1. This allows you to easily produce large quantities of polyester resin and still maintain a long pot life.

Do you enjoy working with polyester resin, top coats and gel coats, but do not want a sticky surface for your next project? Add the paraffin solution to your base compound and create a non-stick surface. Perfect for finishing non-sticky final coats.

Are you working with polyester resin but wish to obtain an even quicker cure. Make sure you use an extra addition of cobalt accelerator. This additive ensures extra fast curing of your resin, even at lower temperatures.

In addition to our additives, we also offer a range of thinners. These thinners allow you to adjust the use of certain resins without sacrificing mechanical strength. 

PU thinner is a product that anyone can use with polyurethane resins. This thinner is perfectly suitable as a thinner and cleaner for lacquers such as Estovoss, G4 and G8 Super. If desired, PU thinner can also be applied under polyurethane resins in order to control in detail the use and weight of the resin. 

Is your polyester spray filler too thick, or not easily workable? Then use Ferro Spray Thinner. This thinner thins the polyester spray filler without affecting its mechanical properties.
