How to install a PU cast floor? Step-by-step plan
Applying a PU cast floor requires precision. Follow these steps for a perfect result:
Step 1: Prepare the substrate
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, dust-free, and level.
Check that the substrate is stable and free of cracks.
If there are cracks or joints, consult our instructions.
Step 2: Apply the primer
Apply the epoxy primer with a serrated spatula.
Roll it over to remove any air bubbles.
Allow the primer to cure completely.
Step 3: Applying the PU casting compound
Mix the 2K PU casting compound according to the instructions.
Pour the material and spread it evenly with a trowel.
Use a spiked roller to remove air bubbles.
Step 4: Topcoat Finish
Apply the 2K Topcoat for extra protection.
Choose matte, satin, or high-gloss, depending on your preference.
This layer provides scratch resistance and UV protection.
